Learn how personalized support and guidance helped turn months of overwhelm into steady progress for Emma’s skin.
When it comes to eczema, every child’s root causes are different. Learning how to interpret testing, adjust protocols, and navigate setbacks on your own can quickly become emotionally exhausting.
Emma’s story is a reminder that sometimes the missing piece to your healing journey isn’t more information. It’s having the right guidance and support to help you confidently move through the healing process.
By the time Paige’s third baby was born, she already knew a thing or two about eczema. When her older daughter, Madison, started showing symptoms as a baby, she turned to Google to learn everything she could.
This led Paige to functional medicine, where she discovered the connection between eczema and gut health. She started working with a functional nutritionist, ran some gut health tests, and uncovered the root causes of Madison’s eczema. Shortly after, Madison’s eczema improved.
When she gave birth to her second daughter, Emma, Paige felt prepared this time. She knew what early signs to look for, and how to support Emma’s gut health in case she developed eczema too.
Aside from cradle crap and a few digestive issues, the first few months after Emma’s birth went smoothly. Paige was hopeful that Emma wouldn’t get eczema like her sister.
But when Emma turned six months old, patches of eczema started appearing on her face, forehead, and behind her ears.

Paige immediately dove back into research mode. She ran multiple tests and joined the Holistic Eczema Warriors community to get a clearer picture of what was going on.
Although Paige had been down this road before, Emma’s eczema wasn’t the same as Madison’s. She was flaring in different places, the lotions she’d used before weren’t working, and the testing revealed different imbalances than her other daughter.
Paige had more experience dealing with eczema than other parents, but because Emma’s root causes were different than Madison’s, she felt stuck on what to do next.

“I knew how to take the information and act on it, but I was desperate to have someone to run things by. I started with your membership program (which was amazing), and going through the curriculum was really helpful. When I joined the one-on-one program, it was more for me than Emma. It's such an emotional weight to carry when you're trying to walk your little one through this. I just needed someone to talk to.”
By the time Paige joined my membership, and then my one-on-one coaching program, she had already done extensive testing and implemented many gut healing strategies on her own.
But Emma’s eczema still wasn’t responding the way Paige expected. Emma didn’t need an entirely different approach; she needed a more personalized one. Here are some of the steps we took to personalize Emma’s healing plan:
We adjusted her probiotics based on Emma’s test results to rebalance the right gut bacteria.
We added gentle antimicrobials to clear bad bacteria and calm inflammation.
We found a dosage that worked for Emma’s body and adjusted it slowly as she improved.
But more than the supplements and gut healing protocols, Paige finally had someone she could talk to about Emma’s progress and setbacks without second-guessing every decision. For many parents, that emotional support becomes just as important as the physical healing itself.
One of the hardest parts of eczema healing is not knowing whether the ups and downs are normal. When you’re navigating flares, food reactions, testing, supplements, and topical routines on your own, it’s easy to wonder if you’re making things worse or falling behind. But healing is rarely linear.
Having guidance throughout the process can make it easier to stay consistent, adjust when necessary, and continue moving forward even when progress feels slow.
After just two months of working together one-on-one, Emma’s eczema improved. She stopped itching so much, and the redness on her forehead and behind her ears faded.

Because Paige already had experience navigating eczema, she understood many of the foundational pieces of healing before we started working together.
But having personalized guidance helped her move through the process with more confidence, less overwhelm, and a clearer understanding of how to support Emma’s unique root causes. That support helped turn months of uncertainty into steady progress.
When I asked Paige if she had any advice to give other eczema warriors, she said:
“If you’re on the fence about getting support, it’s worth it. Having someone to talk to, to help you navigate what’s working and what’s not, makes a huge difference. And most of all, be patient and give yourself grace. Healing takes time, but it’s worth the effort because you’re not just treating a skin issue… you’re helping the whole body heal.”
I am so impressed by Paige’s dedication and commitment throughout Emma’s healing journey.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed trying to connect the dots behind your child’s eczema, Paige’s story is proof that you don’t have to navigate it alone. Sometimes the biggest shift isn’t finding a miracle cream or the correct supplements. It’s having the right guidance, support, and strategy to understand what your child’s body actually needs.
